Rohit Sharma will host his own entertainment show on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV, premiering in September 2026. No active Indian international cricketer has hosted their own show on a major network before.
Sony Pictures Networks India confirmed the Rohit Sharma TV show as part of its festive season content slate on August 10. The show sits alongside Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, Crime Patrol 2026 hosted by Ajay Devgn, and MasterChef Tamil featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
“We have announced a show with active India cricket star Rohit Sharma. And Rohit will start anchoring and presenting his own show on SET and SonyLIV in September.”

Sony has not confirmed the show’s title or format. The SonyLIV platform already lists a page called “The Rohit Sharma Show,” while the teaser campaign uses the branding “Entertainment Ka Hitman.”

The teaser, first released in May 2026, built on Rohit’s viral “Koi bhi garden mein nahi ghumega” stump mic remark from the Vizag Test against England in February 2024.
